ICE SCULPTURES SOLO TEAM (COMPETITION TEAM)
The Waupun Ice Sculptures Solo Team is a group of figure skaters that participate in Figure Skating Competitions. The team is made up of skaters of all ages and skill levels.
Members from other clubs are also accepted!
In the 2023-2024 Season we had 12 Solo Team Members.
Members participated in competitions in Pleasant Prairie, West Bend, Appleton, Escanaba MI, Sheboygan, Delafield, McFarland, Fond du Lac, and Waupun.
We ask that each team member participates in at least 2 competitions each season
(1 being the annual Waupun Competition)
Other possible competition options: West Bend, Fond du Lac, Pleasant Prairie, Escanaba MI, Fox Cities, Delafield, Sheboygan, McFarland, Waupun, Tomahawk, Black River Falls, Beaver dam, Chippewa Falls, Badger State Games (Mosinee), Onalaska, Wausau.........

- 50% off the cost of a new Team Warmup Jacket (if needing a new size)

Fundraising
- Our fundraising goal is $3000 for the 2024-2025 season.
- Fundraising for Solo Team is done over the summer months. We hope to have all fundraising done by October 1st of each season. There is a $250 buyout option.
- Fundraising activities may include:
- Selling tickets for a cornhole board raffle
- Pizza Ranch community impact night
- Brittain House Bingo nights
- Beaver dam Raceway 50/50 drawing
- Public Fun Skate nights
- Raffles
- Bake sales / Brat Fry's.
Team Sponsorship
- For each sponsorship acquired by a skater, their Solo Team fee will be reduced by $25!
You are responsible for the cost of:
- Private Coach / Choreography
- Competition Registration Fees
- Costumes and accessories
- Transportation
- Meals
- Lodging (if needed)
- Coach fees associated with competitions
- Club Membership Fees / Associate Membership Fees
- Other Class Fees
- If your skater is in Basic 4 and above, they will be required to take at least one specialty class
- (Jumps / Spins, Moves, Power, or Art on the Edge, etc.) - these classes can be taken at our club or another club.
